This site sets no cookies. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising scripts. We do not collect personal data.

Every page, font and image is served from this domain. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs, as every web server does.

When you press play

Episode audio is hosted by Megaphone, which is owned by Spotify. Pressing play fetches the file from them, and your IP address is visible to them at that point. Nothing is fetched until you press play. The same applies to links out to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Instagram and TikTok.

If you email

Writing to info@ancienttorecent.com means your email address and whatever you write are received and kept in order to reply. Correspondence is not added to a mailing list, and is not shared with anyone.

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to the same address.
